Aissist review: pricing, setup, and what users say in 2026

The top-ranking Aissist review is a 2025 article by a competitor, and three of its claims no longer match the product. We checked each against Aissist's live pages and 42 G2 reviews.

TL;DR: Aissist's pricing page lists $0.09 per AI interaction, capped at $0.60 per resolution, with escalations free and a 1,000-ticket free tier, so the $0.12-per-interaction figure in eesel AI's 2025 review is out of date.

Methodology & sources

This article checks the claims in third-party reviews against Aissist's live pages. For a side-by-side of the two products, see Aissist vs eesel AI; for how per-interaction and per-resolution billing compare across vendors, see AI agent pricing models.

Aissist review chart: Aissist.io pricing per conversation at $0.12 per interaction versus today's $0.09 per interaction capped at $0.60 per resolution

How much does Aissist.io cost?

Aissist.io charges $0.09 per AI interaction, capped at $0.60 per resolution, and you pay the lower of the two, according to its pricing page. An interaction is one customer message plus one AI reply. Conversations handed to a human are not charged.

Plan (Sep 2026)Price (USD)VolumeWhat you get
Free$0, no credit cardUp to 1,000 tickets/monthFree engine for FAQs and basic procedures
Growth$0.20–$0.60 per resolution, by channelUnlimitedAdvanced engine; no contract, stop any time
EnterpriseVolume discountUnlimitedHigher SLA, dedicated AI engineer support

Channel sets where you land. If most of your volume is email, the pricing page estimates about $0.25 per resolution; if it is chat, WhatsApp or SMS, budget $0.60, because conversations run longer. Per-interaction pricing quietly taxes chatty customers; the cap stops the meter at $0.60.

Where does the $0.12-per-interaction figure come from?

The $0.12 figure comes from eesel AI's review, which predates the resolution cap Aissist added in mid-2026. Aissist's Straight Answers page sets out the history: "In the second half of 2025 we cut the per-interaction rate from $0.15 to $0.09. In mid-2026 we added a cap of $0.60 per resolution so cost tracks outcomes, not message count."

eesel is right that Aissist meters by interaction, and notes a typical chat "could easily have four, five, or more interactions." The cap solves exactly that: a ten-interaction chat at eesel's $0.12 would cost $1.20; today it costs $0.60, or nothing if it escalates. Pricing pages change faster than competitor blog posts get edited.

Claim in eesel's review (Nov 2025)What Aissist's live pages say (Sep 2026)
"$0.12 per interaction"$0.09 per interaction, capped at $0.60 per resolution; escalations free
"doesn't mention any kind of sandbox"Built-in Simulator to test responses before go-live
"heavy, consultant-led setup"Self-serve setup in about 10 minutes; no implementation contract

Can you test Aissist on your own tickets before going live?

Yes: Aissist includes a Simulator, and its docs say to "use the Simulator to test how Aissist responds before you go live." The Straight Answers page adds that simulation and evaluation let you "check responses against your own past conversations before any live traffic is handled." The free tier is the second test bench: 1,000 real tickets a month, no card on file. Testing does not fix messy source material, though:

"To maximize the effectiveness of Aissist, ensure your documentation is well-organized and up-to-date. Regularly review and update your knowledge base to maintain high-quality responses." — Nathaniel E., Co-Founder, small business, G2 review

How long does Aissist.io take to set up?

Setup is self-serve: Aissist's homepage says it "deploys in ~10 minutes," and the Quick Start guide runs as seven console steps with no consultant involved. Aissist runs on top of helpdesks such as Zendesk, Intercom and Freshdesk. Ten minutes gets an agent answering; production-ready takes a little longer, by reviewers' accounts:

"In just about an hour, we had a system ready to deploy for real users. After that, it started handling repetitive tickets on its own and accurately tagging the rest." — Agustín M., IT Support Manager, small business, G2 review

Neither timeline involves a statement of work. Enterprise includes a dedicated AI engineer, but as a support tier, not a prerequisite.

What do Aissist.io reviews say?

Aissist.io is rated 4.8 out of 5 across 42 reviews on G2, with pricing and fast setup the most common praise:

"The pay-per-fix pricing structure is also a massive benefit for us; instead of paying a high, rigid monthly software fee, we are charged under a dollar for each successfully completed issue, which cut our overall customer service costs in half." — Oswaldo O., IT Supervisor, mid-market, G2 review

The recurring criticism: answers are only as good as your documentation, and workflows need some tuning.

The 2025 review describes a product that has since changed

Aissist now caps every resolved conversation at $0.60, charges nothing for escalations, starts free, and sets up without consultants. Trust dated primary sources over old reviews: run your own tickets through the free tier and check the pricing page.
